Here's my little effort. If anyone else wants to get ahold of my version and touch it up, I'd be really interested to see what you do with it.

I didn't really like it because I didn't really 'understand' what was happening in the image. What I think you had as shadows would not have been the way I would have drawn it. I also didn't like the colour scheme given. Browns are very difficult to work with if you want bright images.

I'm saying these sorts of things as maybe it can help you as well when drawing things or something.

Anyhow it was a fun little challenge that took a bit over an hour (half of that time was spent selecting areas so for next time, please don't use dotted lines , use full lines as with the broken lines, I can't use the magic wand tool to select and it takes twice as long to do).

*blush*

must be a sense of humour that I'm not aware of. What is the joke? Apart from the fact that I'm now the butt of it?

HEHE HEREWS MINE I LIKE IT COOL CAUSE IT ROCKS AND I WANNT TO BE A FDAMOUS ARTIST AND YOU SAID i COULD BER IF i wHAT?

Seriously, you can learn from doing this. Matt, your shapes are gooey and weak with too much modeling at this point in the image. Go for the simple big statement at first. I did not use any soft edges or modeling or gradation of any kind, but the flat shapes are graphically interesting. What comes later can be icing on the cake.

Spooge: Haha... =)

Matt: Spooge is right though, it can be a good excercise. Hey, it's ok not to have known, I guess we're all too familiar with Spooge's work in a geeky kind of way. =) So no, nothing to be ashamed of, you couldn't have known. Either way, you got a good excercise out of it nonetheless. =]

cheers!
