[DizGruntled]

Hi all, this is my first time "painting" in ps. I've been doing game textures for awhile, but this is something new to me. I tried concentrating on working out the techniques of laying down the paint and style with this image, rather than a nice composition. I know, I know, I cut off the image at his wrists. It's bad I did this, but I considered the subject matter more of a learning excercise.

It's great to see a forum like this and gain inspiration from all the artists. Thanks, much to Dhabih.

Good, ya got a geocities account. Since you already mentioned about cutting it off at the wrists I won't say anything, no wait, I just did...damn. The anatomy is well porportioned and the you made good use of tonal ranges. Now just refine it some more and put him in some kind of setting. Good work, I look foward to seeing any revisions to it.

Thanks for the input. I'll probably leave this one as is. It's not finished by any means but more of an excercise for me. I'm itching to start another image, focusing more on colors. Hopefully after that, I can have a more composited piece with a background!
