It seems you are very hard-headed, Psionic. I took the time to show you how BETTER your pics look without SO MUCH RED, yet you STILL make them picture with saturated red all over the place and we can't determine what's going on on your painting. C'mon, make an effort.

From what I can see, you are getting the hang of shape/shadows, that's good, but COLOR.. COLOR is what MAKES your image come to life. Without good colors, means without good life (sorta).

Is there a larger version?
I like the image, but It would be even better if it was bigger.

Hah hah, another constructive post, well done! Cheer up pal, maybe I'll do a Falk picture and spend longer than 10 minutes on it using all sorts of lovely little colours, just for you. Naah, I've got better things to do.

I think the problem is not red as a colour so much, but the values you're using. convert that to greyscale and you have yourself a very flat and boring image. the focal point is more on the underside of the rock he's on.

You don't seem to be very hip to taking crits Psionic. are you interested? you don't really mention anything in the post besides the image, maybe you don't want any comments? Idunno...just wondering.
When people give a comment it usialy pays too take heed. some of the time people are straight out wrong, but most of the time even if what they are saying is wrong, there is still merit in their words. just because someone can't verbalise or figure out what they think is wrong with a pic doesn't mean that there is nothing wrong with it. If you don't have a real reaason for doing what someone is objecting too then maybe step back and have a thnk about it.
just saying get lost, I did it 'cos I wanted to, while totaly valid, may be missing something important.

Just MHO, not flaming.

I find the red very distracting personaly. I like the idea behind the image, but there isn't much visuial interest due the the very saturated colours and lack of contrast.

Hooray for Rinaldo! and if I seemed insulting what I said, I was marely impersonnating JeffK, if you weren't familiar with it. I really don't think you're a fagot . Hehe.

I just don't want you to refuse what the others want to give you. Sometimes it's much more valuable than you think!

Think about it, the more you know about it, the more you realize you don't know anything.

Ok, Ok. I do see all your points and will take them on board and I agree that advice can teach you lots but some people just seem to have a dig for the sake of it, but I guess thats up to them.
