Oh please please I need some pointers!
I bought charcoals and drew some 20 A4 sized 5min faces a few days ago. Now most of them sucked, so I only scanned the better ones.
Now, your assignment is to observe these 8 faces and comment on some obvious mistakes I made so I could advance even just a bit.
And then there are some marker experiment pages somewhere way bottom of the post. Ref used for most of the birds.

YOU SHOULD DRAW ONLY HOT CHICKS!!! THAT is how your work will become increasingly popular amongst the artistic male population. Of course, the female gender often likes a well drawn lustruous female body, too. So please, draw only scantily clad women from now on, OR ILL HAVE TO DRAW YOU SOME PANT-CREAMING BROOKE SHIELDS DRAWINGS!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, and do let me tell that those marker renderings really bring light to my day, the birds look so very ...GOOD!! ID LIKE TO MAKE SOME BIRD-PIE!!!!!!!! ITS REALLY GOOD YOUKNOW!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!

I really like the birds and the style that you have happening there. It's hard to critique sketches that are really quick as by there nature, they will have problems that you can't see really well because maybe you'd refine it later or something. I guess the main thing I noticed was all the characters have very chiselled checks. Sometimes this is good but not everyone is going to have these. Don't know if you noticed but something to think about

Reminds me of some half starved witch doctor!  But very nice! Clean birdies too!
