Nice work so far but theres a couple of problems that jump to my eye. First, the anatomy isnt totally accurate and there seems to be something wrong in the head/shoulder area. The sword looks VERY flat, it needs volume, its as if you stuck a 2d image in a 3d one. The hnd holding the sword is way too big in my opinion, its as big as his head. Those are the 3 things that kinda jump up to me in this piece, hope this helps.
Keep up the nice work

hi cos !
nice, but it needs some touch ups, like detail on the ground, size in perspective on the bg (whaaa?), hmm..the tree to the right looks like its coming from the mountain...it looks nice tho ! cant wait to see the finnished one.

'ello mate!
Looks great, I like the picture. I would consider changing his stance. Maybe have him look a little more lively (you know) maybe bending his knees or something. Perhaps even tone down the size of his muscles.
hope that helps.

thanx for the feedback ppl
Seph- yeah that is good points, I didnt even notice the sword.
The arm is pretty big too, it was supposed to be slightly coming
towards you but ahhhhh. I'll touch that stuff up, thanks
Caneman - ello cane yeah I still need to do the neatening thang
to it, been having some trouble with it but I guess I need to
practise more. As for the background, ermm well I know its very
very blaahh, shoulda put much more thought into it.
Ian - lol, that pony tail comment cracked me up you are
definetely right, looks like a branch from the tree has fallen
off and hit him on the head or something. He was originally meant
to be in movement which is why I did it like that but it kinda
changed as it went along, so I'll have to relax it a litle. The
muscles are quite alot toned from my usual stuff already! |
