i know most of you all use photoshop(i do) but i do have painter and it would be nice to actually be able to WATCH you draw something, not just see pics on the way, or the final or a tutorial, but actually see every step as its going. is this a good? yay! do!

You can record your progress with Photoshop too. Just start recording a new Action and then do New Image - etc. when done with the pic, stop recording, and post the action

I think spooge has a Quicktime mov on his site showing this off.

yea does anyone have any actions for photoshop?

well basically these pictures take hours and hours

and the amount of chaping and changing and brush strokes would be to much to handle for the action.. i think...

but it would be good for quicker smaller paintings..

damn. i tried doing an action recording of a pic, but it didn't record any brushstrokes, just the color changes and brush changes
