I always am at a lack for words when it comes to describing the visual characteristics ov my work, you know, "what's it look like?", or "what does it mean?" black magick abortion in the necropheliac sense??? one can only speculate. However, I do appreciate feedback and crit.
So, like I said before, I'm a painter and am looking to do this same type of work on our computer. What programs would help me execute without loosing calibre? Photoshop? Coreldraw? something else? Starting advise besides just get on it and practice would be gratefully welcome.

ubb sucks butt... . my suggestion for getting it right everytime is to get the image to show up in your browser, then copy and paste the url into your post, and bracket it with a . that way you can't miss and .coms and the like. so that would get you a (IMG)http://www.geocities.com/acarablue/pictures/centrifugal.jpg(/IMG) for the first one except the ( and ) would be [ and ]
very nice images by the way. i like the moroccan tile feel of the latter one.

Answering the starting with computer painting -question.
Programs.. there's two, Adobe Photoshop and Corel (formerly Metacreations) Painter.
Photoshop is probably more geared towards image manipulation and such, but it's good for painting too. I haven't used Painter yet, but from what I've heard, it's better at mimicking traditional methods and has kick-ass brushes.
A must for digital painting is a drawing tablet. A pen is so much more intuitive than a mouse. Just get the biggest Wacom Intuos your budget allows
