I was playing around with the technique Francis used in his recent post.
This happend as a result. I don't really have anything to say about it.
Tell me what you think people.
I like the idea of the lasso. I think I'll use it a bit more in the future. This is pretty sketchy. I haven't been using Pshop for anything of late becuase I think I need to get back the the basic stuff and comp just doesn't let me learn fast enough in that reguard.

These are very nice!
I love the colors on the first one and its "dirt" feeling.

I like this! Though im not a big fan of "cartoon" style images It Is intresting to se e some new aproaches on digital painting.
Now print it, tie it up in a tree and use a Real lasso on it. then scan it twice and make it just allitle bit browner and youre done! =)
goodnight |

Nice lampshade!
Kidding, it's pretty nice. The style is expressive and colours are good. Like someone else suggested, I'd have brought the hat down just a little. |

Ashley Judd
I'd swear I actually saw a photo almost exactly like that two tone drawing up there too. (couldn't find it though; probably in some film somewhere) I'm not saying you copied it or even meant it to look like her or anything. I just saw some similarities.
(good job btw) |

Muz-
I can see what you mean. I drew my pic from outta my head, you can but take me on my word I might have a go at drawing that pic tho. I'm going to do a lot of ref work in the future to learn more about faces. Mine always look the same and rather cartoony.
I guess I just like that kind of face... Mmmmmmmm
