Those orange phallic things are sooo cool.

AS always, Synj, you are an inspiration to us all..oh..and yeah..you nearly made me laugh so hard that a lemon poppy-seed muffin almost liquified in my mouth and shot out my nose. Cant wait for part 3. Since my stress level is way above normal standards right now, I certainly appreciate the hard work hermano.
When you get to L.A..be sure and drop me a line!

Oh, and please fix that broken link to the DIV-X version... :-/ Thanks!
Ed: Thanks Amnesia... =) I was just about to post the working link too. hehe =)
Ed2: Funny stuff Synj... love the effects of timing and character reactions, very well done! What's with that world border where characters get scaled? =) Very weird stuff, but funny! =)

really really cool synj. Nice idea with the split world fenomena thing . When you are finished with every part of the movie, you should put it together in one long show.

thanks for all the wonderous feedback! EWEEEeeeeeeee
worthy: haha! I'll have to try harder next time to get it to happen! glad i could make ya laugh tho
rinaldo: i work on a dual-800mhz athlon (1k RAM, GeForce card) running windows 2000 NT. i just got it a week or 2 ago so I've been able to do alot more with my stuff, and faster! plus it's networked with the older comp, which is a 700mhz athlon so the renders are divided up.
the dude: hehe those are krugles! didn't you read the description on the link? hehe
frost: i dunno, i never planned it. apparently mister ghrib isn't affected by its magic but everything else is. he musta been born on the border or something eh?
joachim: right on! i'm one step ahead of ya
charles, fred: thanks!$#@ ASDFGkop12
hehe this is great i made people happy. we win yayyy

I love when the music picks up at JUST the right moment!

Hey Synj, just curious --
How long would an episode take to render?
How many frames?
How long per frame roughly?
I've been getting into animating more myself. I have an animation where I've gotten the movements pretty good, but since it has no story line and isn't really funny, I won't post it here. It's just an experiment really.
Hopefully, I'll be get some more interesting stuff done sometime, and then I'll post that.

I dunno what it is, but none of my media players play your movies, synj.. I used apple's quicktime on the low qualitiy, but it seems to have quit working. I have media player and real player too, and they don't work. What should I download? |

hehe thanks sergenth! yeah sometimes I'd check through the film and be like 'hmm what can i do to make it so it changes with the music'? and i guess that little extra effort was worth it
zayats: neat! i am contracted for another year though, so that'd hafta be a really big job for me to leave :/
dhabih: i dunno, seriously. it's weird really cuz i usually dont find any of my animations anywhere near humorous - whether 3D or 2D. I just aim at giving the characters life and i guess that does the trick. ?
amnesia: i get asked that one kinda often and i've been meaning to time myself. the fact is, the project will go as fast as I am prepared for the next scene. If everything's modelled and plotted out, I'm in for some fast work. For mister ghrib it's about 30-40 seconds a frame on 320x240 renders with antialiasing, fog, and over 20k polys with all those damn trees and stuff. I hate to say it but I'm definately the wrong person to ask about animation. I taught myself!
-synj www.synj.net
nori: i dunno, dude. I'd reinstall windows if none of your mediaplayer stuff is working. you have the latest mediaplayer and div-x codec?

Hey Synj,
I have some questions on how you did your videos. First: How did you cut the single scenes together to one big film? Program name for the procedure?
And second: With which program did you do the music and sound effects to this film?
Neat work!

hehe i want a stuffed krugle too!
to put the scenes together and soundFX, i use adobe premiere 4.0 cuz i hate the later versions of it! ick!
for music, i use cakewalk pro and play on a midi keyboard to different tracks. then play the midi back and record as a wav to insert it into premiere with the scenes. wee!
