Sometimes the topic of work times on various paintings comes up on this forum that I've been a ghost on for some time. Mine are always around an hour... the problem is I cant finish them in an hour. Hence they are left unfinished because I grow board way to quick. How do you guys stay motivated to work on the same thing for an extended period.

I take a break and then come back later.

I spend some more time looking at what im working on and daydreaming, visualizing, inventing a story around it and romantacizing my whole 'artist' thing.

Works for me so...

Course, being an obsessive helps, when you've got obsession you dont need explanations!
