Hey guys, seems like sijun.com forum soon will be 1 year old. As far as i remember it starts to work 'in normal mode' at the end of Oct. 1999

Just an idea, what about making a big group photo of forum members? Yeah, we're lost all over the world but we can use *ahem* special effects to make it. Like those posts with single self-portraits or photos. But now i propose to do a single pic with the band.
What do you think?

But it'll be fun, something to remember. It'll be especially fun to see who is behind each nick. Something like a school yearbook. Maybe we should make a yearbook...

October 22nd the forums will be 1 year old, so if you wanna make a group photo or something like that it'd be cool to have it finished by the date.

hey bell, more dudez = more fun, but maybe we'll got only 30-40 faces (so the size of group photo will be nice). I've no idea how many people interesting in this project...

Okei, here is a sample from my archive (not my work of course):
- left: jubilee cover of Game.EXE magazine;
- top right: band of unknown dudez

- down right: another unknown crew;

this images present an idea with mixing, placement and post-production of the faces.

Back to sijun.com forum, well the type or design of this yearbook depends on the number of entries|members faces. More faces = bigger size, but less details.

Well if you like the idea with "The Sijun.com Academy of Art Yearbook 2000" hehe... i'd like to discuss some technical stuff. Do you like to see nicks directly on photo (like sample with Id) or maybe add them into bottom of image or another file? What about bg info like age, country, date of registration and so on... unclude it or not? Lemme know...

I love the idea. Pity a lot of the old regulars aren't around- would be good to get every body in.
I'd love to get a high quality version when it's complete to print out and frame 'n shit.

Since i've no time to dig up forum archives post your pics here or send them to me at [email protected] . Please keep in mind size of the pics - 50-60Kb in JPG will be fine. Blank background preferred (like sydneyshan pic). Also include your nick and homepage (if you've one). I'll start to do a pre-production image, but later if my hardware can't handle it i'll ask for the help =).
Affected, i've thinked about it maybe it's better to start a new topic with "before" and "after" pics? And later apply them into html page of the album... would be fun.

Well i'll post updates here or there to see how things going on. But now i'm waiting for the image data... send your pics.

PS: Oh yes, welcome to da board pebe! It's time to unhide right?

So you are thinking of having a picture of each and everyone(those who do send pictures of them that is) and then you going to make them have one artwork or two printed with the pictures. Let's see, if one page is devoted to each person or even two like in mine, from my high school, how many pages are we then talking about? 1000? 2000?
(don't know how many people are registered here.) But I would definitely like to see a year book rather than a huge picture(even though it would be nice too but there wouldn't be space for everyone.)

muwhaha. i just realized how stupid this looks.

the pic is the latest one- i'm too lazy to take one now, and it's purpose was to show the current state of my hair (sad story). and about the flat color bg.. again the laziness bit. and i can hide behind the excuse that i have no way of taking a digi shot right now, other than walking over to affected's place and abusing his cam (he lives.. what, 250 meters from my company office anyway.)

lo and behold the fake anger. sad, so sad.

Interesting concept. I'm in the middle of putting a yearbook together at the moment (sooooooooooo time consuming). Well I'm going to be lazy at the moment and use a piccy from my website until I can go home and get a better one.
