I've just been working on this image for our little yearbook cover. It is about 80% finished and I'm interested in peoples comments. I'm trying to go for something that is simple yet stylish. Thanks (sorry the image is a bit big, forgot to shrink it down before I came into work this morning)

I dont have anything to really say, but I scanned in my yearbook from last year, The school year of 1999~2000, so maybe you can get some ideas on your yearbook.
And yes... if you're wondering, it is the symbol from the futureshop ads. Hehe.

I think you've over detailed your supposedly simple picture. If your trying to make it look simple I would suggest using silhouettes. |

Thanks for the responses guys/gals! That one that you put in Shadow-X- has given me a couple of ideas for the text and the whole effect looks really good.
Thanks for the suggestion chapel. Still just thinking of how to use silhouettes yet maintaining a nice happy/clean/fun feel to it (seems every time I use shadows/silhouettes - my images turn out dark and twisted.)
