I like the Tool Room pic, has pazzazz...some parts look like water colour, which I much prefer to the general airbrush mania.
I am most struck by the sence of mystery and atmosphier (lacking, I think in the other 2 pics) and the quircky-fun rendering of carved wood and stuffed elk.

thanks man
the first image was done with the brush with oil paints in painter 6.
These images (accept for the head study) weren't meant to just be "cool" or neat. They have meaning to them.
The first one plays on "Gun Control" and represents it as "Human Control" instead. This piece was inspired by a quote: "A gun cant be responsible for a death, just as a shovel cant be responsible for digging a ditch." The guns on the tool bench are meant to show guns as tools rather than weapons that need to be locked up and instead show the human locked up because humans are the ones who control how guns are used. The "cute" deer head was put there to show that the guns are used in some way.
The third image shows how i despise how some men treat women. It is quite blatent in there, that men can "suck the life out of women" or "eat their hearts away."
The second image was a head study i did in a life drawing class that i wanted to recreate in color and digitaly in Painter6.
As i said earlier, i prefer the style of the head study and "Human Control" over the guy drinking the woman's heart peice.
I dont mean to knock you down or anything, i just dont like the fact that some people view art as just "pretty pictures." Some pieces require some thought and some require some explanation. None the less, i would suggest looking deeper into art and search for a connection you can derive from it, or a meaning you can gather; whether it is the correct meaning or not, you still will think more about the piece rather than just gawking at it and saying "i like it," or "i dont like it."
thanks.
