Just practice drawing plastic stuff... drawn from life... stupid as hell, anyone have anything to say? How badly did I mess up this time?

Looks really nice. Couple of comments:

1) the overall shape of the bottle looks a little bit off. I think this is caused by the label (particularly on the right hand side - really difficult to explain, just something my eye picked up).

2) The horizontal circles on the bottle representing the grooves need to be a little more 'curvy'. At the moment because they are not 'perfect' curves, it is harder to believe it is a real bottle. I know this is really is to say and extremely difficult to correct. A 'trick' might be to use photoshop paths to create splines which can be copied. They can then be stroked and/or used as selections. This may help to give you guides and/or add to the image.

3) the edges of the bottle look at a little scratchy / blurry. Again this is really difficult to correct and maybe try the smudge tool with the setting on 'lighten' and darken as appropriate.

This may seem overally critical but I'm only trying to help. I myself don't like drawing perfectly symmetrical and curvy objects as if they are slightly out, you can really pick it. The image really does look good though.

Nice work on color choices, and I think you handled the textures wonderfully.
If you don't want to paint boring life subjects..DON'T!!!!! instead of whining about how boooring your subject is, choose something you think is interesting.

Now, go find something cool, and bring it back for me! I am pleased. you may go.

Although the bottles shape looks a little bit off, and a sticker isn't aligned right, this is an awsome picture. You got the colors, reflections and transparency down very well. At a first glance it looked extremely photorealistic. Then the shape of the bottle and a sticker told me otherwise.

This is awsome dude. Love it.

looks good. I'm trying to figure out why I'm not buying it though; why it doesn't look almost madly realistic (I've seen plenty of funny shaped bottles before;
. They get battered and dented and washed in hot water.)
It's certainly something to do with colour. I suspect the grooves at the top are too strong; the constrasts seem out of whack with the rest (I could be wrong) maybe try and soften them up a little (colour wise that is). Giving it a bit of an environment helps too, I think. The top part looks like it should be reflecting something but you've avoided putting it in because life didn't match the background of the pic, maybe.
I dunno, I could be way off base as usual. But there ya go.

The bottle looks AWESOME, but the label is throwing it off for me. It looks like a flat label curved upwards. Text is curved up, but has no perspective.

I'd just like to add that other than the other people's comments, this pic looks awesome, and I esepcially love the way you did the effect of condensation at the top part of the bottle. I believe no one has said anything about condensation, I have spoken, and now I must go back to the heavens.

Dude! Seriously EXCELLENT lighting and shading. Friend, you have left behind the crayons of the past and moved up to the uh... Digimaster's keyboard or something. You may have a rough time drawing ellipses, but don't worry about it... that's what Adobe Illustrator is for. Or, use MS Word to make some ellipses to draw over in Photoshop! That's the poor-man's vector graphics! Erase that layer when you're done with it.

I can tell by the picture that you have sharp vision (do you wear glasses or not? I guess not.) and that your mental palette is very broad. You can distinguish between gradients and specular lighting and it appears to me that when you see something, it sticks around in your head for more than 3 minutes and fading.

Now just uh, bring that brain closer for a look-see. I'm just going to use this very rusty dull metal thinger to mmm, pick your brain :P

Thanks for all the feedback people... everything seems well said, compliments and criticisms As for me complaing about how boring the pic is, I didn't intend to come off like that, I was just saying a bottle isn't very interesting... but is good practice. Yeah, I should use elipse tools more, but I really wanted to practice drawing freehand. Maybe i'll do another bottle... maybe even a beer bottle
