Maybe cuz people like to see you get mad?
Or maybe cuz your pics scare the hell outta people. If you made cute cuddly things, maybe they would go running screaming from the comp, like they do for your bloody beatin artwork.
But, I think this is an awesome peice. I love the light from the top. It is very freaky looking. Good work!

Yea my topics has been like "new pic, feedback" so mabye thats why!
Mick made me a tutroial, and i use his system for this painting. But i still get this blurry look. Have to but more time on my pics! 1 h is to short.

Hey Poxen.
Striking image you made there.
Some things you ought to tighten up, though. I don't think it communicates quite well. I mean, do you want this person to be frightning or do you wish to portray a cyborg in pain? Right now I think that he looks like a person that has been starving for years while getting metalimplants. Try evening out the shadows in the eyes and the under the cheekbones. This will make him look less like a alien/starved african hybrid. (no offence).
Your lightsourceing seems pretty ok, but you really has to think out how each shade reacts to light. Since you only have one lightsource, or at least only one major lightsource this should be fairly manageable. Just remember to give lighter values to shapes that has a more direct angle towards the light and darker values where the angle is lower. Seems pretty easy text, but really hard to master. And I would remove a little of the dogde effect from the direct light. Looks too computerish compared to the painted feel of the rest of the image.
Otherwise great pic. Looking forward to see if you will work on it some more.

anyway, the picture it pretty cool. but he has practically no jaw and his skin suffers from massive overdoing of dodge and burn. |

Mmm...I am pretty messy kind of painter! So i dont really now what i want with the picture! The ground ide was to make a suffering person who has a sad/scary expression in his face. But it changed on the way! =)
