Greetings. As I'm new to this forum I'll give you guys a short resum. I'm Sietse-Jan Weijenberg, known as Berg. 16 years old, from Holland. I play cello, but lately I've been concentrating my skills (?) of the visual art. 3d modelling, pencil drawing. Let me show some of my work, and notice that none of the pencil drawings has been retouched afterwards (which would actually have been a good idea, but...I don't have the skills to do that yet)
This is a (not so detailed) monster I did: http://www.geocities.com/sweijenberg/Potloodmonster1.jpg
And this is his (even less detailed) little friend: http://www.geocities.com/sweijenberg/Potloodmonster2.jpg
I gave this guy a saddle because he looked so lovely =\
Enough for monsters, I thought at this point. So I started a human (?) body... http://www.geocities.com/sweijenberg/menselijklichaam.jpg
Censuur is Dutch for Censored. I did NOT cover the face because I can't do faces, I 'censored' it because this was a fun-drawing of my gym-teacher at school. So If I had put a head on which didn't resemble the good man the joke would not be funny anymore.
For more character-observation I did this cyborg: http://www.geocities.com/sweijenberg/potloodcyborg.jpg
Ok now...that was about the 2d pencil work I did. Now let me show you a head I did in 3d studio max: http://www.geocities.com/sweijenberg/HoofdWeb.jpg
That one is called 'Face-off' =)
And finally my own head: http://www.geocities.com/sweijenberg/sietsejanweijenberg.jpg
I hope I've presented myself enough now...See you at the forum, folks!
Jan.

Hi, welcome to the forum!
You modeled the head by yourself? Thats pretty good (you don't want to see MY first modeled head.. it looked WEIRD).
images can be shown with
[-img]http://www.yourdomain.com/picture.jpg[-/img]
just delete the "-" before the image tags ( it would not show up for you to see if they were not there)

Just kidding man...

I think you got the talent, just keep working on this. The 3D head is really good for a first time effort.
Definitely take some photos and paint from them to get a feel for anatomy & stuff.
Oh well I'll just shut up, I guess I should learn this stuff myself before I start criticizing other people for it. But as a side note, I play the cello as well But I'm too lazy to practice regularly.

Just a note on Cyborg image.
A cyborg is combination of flesh and machine...you have drawn a Robot. Keep at it!

Thank god you didn't figure that out at the beginning. I hate it when I have to sit here with my slow ass connection and wait for five pictures to load, I would have just hit "back".
Nex- I think that that is a picture.
