The hair of the woman is exactly what I need on my character , but can't find out how he did it , I know he did it using only Photoshop ..
Please give me the answer , then I can finally post something here  |

Looks like a lot of brushstrokes with white-grey color mixed with darker strokes.
Then a lot of smudging and use of the dodge tool for some highlites around the hair.
I can't be certain but thats what it looks like to me. |

I think Rob got it right on... Looks like smudge too to me. (I've done hair in this style before, too. Though not as good. ) |
