Actually, mina was so cheap because I built it myself. I got the kit-version of the 6x8 - it's a little bit of work, but much cheaper. Got mine at www.mocaw.com - be sure you've got a good set of tools - you definetely need a 2000W arcwelder and a hyperbaric chamber (to put the actual tablet-matrix onto the holders). Oh, and a sharp knife - for skinning the cat!

I have the 12x18, and payed less than $700.
They are in short supply, so expect several month lag time in your order being filled.
I got mine at Buy.com... they will match the price of any other web dealer and undercut them by 10% check pricewatch.com to compair prices. If you buy dirct from Wacom, you can have one tomarrow by overnight, but they will gouge you heavy. The only complaint I have about the big pad is that it is... well... realy big. God I love it.

I checked the Wacom site a while ago and a 6x8 is like $337 US $$!
