pretty damn interesting... i seriously wonder: if he were to changed the title to like "Angry Abstract", erase the words in the picture, and explained how he went about making it, would he get so blasted? holy shit if you think that is trash, no wonder we have so many people scared to post!

so what, the "art" isn't good... my art isn't good and all i get is zero replies which is a fuck of a lot better than what he got.

Yea. as you can see in my first post, there was more wrong with it. Alot more. The language was just the icing on the cake, especially since the combination is so damn common.

yeah, i know there was stuff wrong with it... but i dunno like if i made a picture, and the anatomy was way off or something i don't think i would want someone saying like "Silico... you fool, you are so fucking pathetic get a life, what the hell is your problem i can't believe you messed up the gaddamn fucking anatomy." i dunno. i think it was more than "icing" but yeah yeah we better drop this.

Nobody flames me here

I've been flamed once, though.

There was a forum using a bunch of my pics without my permission. So I told them not to. They wrote things like "f*ck that b*tch someone should f*cking kill her" and "Death to uppity artists" on their forum, wrote mails to me with the ... same kind of message... and then even flamed me on my Elfwood board. This went on for over two weeks.

They also started bitching about me making photo manipulations and that none of my pics were mine (Seriously: huh?)...

...well... anyway... I don't know why I'm mentioning this... apart from the fact that being on the receiving end of the "flame" isn't always so fun.

I nearly took down my work from the web because it was beginning to feel really awful.

i know there's a big big difference!!! but that's just what i was saying is if there were no childish words on the title or the picture would he get that mashed for his art? sounded more to me like you all hated his art rather than immaturity.

enayla... well, atleast you kept your page going after 2 WEEKS!!! a lot of my time and inspirations went into my webpage, and months passed with me updating it every so often and people seemed to be happy with it and what it contained... until one day, ONE guy and his post ruined it all. all it said was something like "fuck off you suck i hope you die you have no talent" and then from then on, i never updated the page, i never checked up on the guestbook, i really just kinda left it. i even emailed him and apologized if something was wrong on the page, i said i'd change something on it for him but he never mailed me back so i guess i just kinda let it all drift away.

yeah i know most of you think that's stupid and maybe you're thinking "well if you really put all that time into it, all your inspirations and whatnot you wouldn't have let it go that easy" and you're probably right but it hurt so much that someone could do that to me and probably they didn't even know how much i wanted to make everything work out and everything. i dunno.. nobody gets it i guess i dunno but i'm just really weak in that spot

maybe we shouldnt use the term "art", because it is a very um...cant think of the word. well its the word that means it is the top level of the hierarchy with many teirs beneath it.

cause 3d, music, design, webpages, cd covers, cave drawings

, movies, winamp plugins, and the such are all "artistic"

so maybe spitsoul's filtered shit with fuck on top should be labeled as "cd cover" or "filter manipulation" or "background image" instead. cause it is still a "graphical composition"

dave mckeen does a lot of photo-manip, search for him and check it out.

painting is not the only form of art, its painting. so stop saying art in refrence to all the "graphical compositions" on this board

i'd like to say a word or two about flaming.

i am very surprised to see our own Nori (from digi art forum) pulling a cockuphisass stunt on icq a little bit after *cough* the other individual a few days ago *cough*.

i find it amusing how people have hard time figuring out why i'm being such a dick to certain forum users here.

the "what?" was the very first thing said. he has been on ignore for quite a while after not ceasing with his "fun", so i have no idea what he's messaging me as i type this.

from now on, every kid from this forum (random AND digital art) that todes this bullshit ends up on the forum where they came from.

thank you have a nice whatever day it is today.
