After watching it for the 3rd time, I put my fingers up to my face and noted the rictus grin of pleasure that my jaw has now been locked into, hehe

I really dig the landscape! Synj, do you play Kirby (SNES or n64) for inspiration?

To be completely honest, I never used to dig your style Synj.. but my opinion has changed drastically. You are extremely talented. Your latest movie was absolutely incredible. Are you professionally employed? If so, where?

Anyway, great work man. I'm now an official Synj-convert.

sh4de: hehe didn't know it meant that much to you! I'll try to keep you alive and make some more

superbug: haha you're welcome i guess I dunno what to say.

humanclay: that view of my art interests me a lot. What was it that changed about my style that appealed to you suddenly? The detailed environment? Storyline?

Yeah I am employed professionally. I work for www.Z.com. Basically maintaining synj.net is my job and they get to display the stuff they like on their site as well. If they ever fire me though the rights to display my work is lost to them. They are very very cool people indeed! I also will be working on some things for the company itself and/or directing some upcoming inhouse shows. Dunno yet really.

That's so cool. Looks like pseudo clay-mation. Have you ever played the Neverhood, or Skull Monkeys? Your style is vaguely reminiscent of that I love it! Must...see...more...

hehe.. I can't have my work displayed by any other site like that. It's in my contract. I can, however, submit it to filmfestivals. anybody know of any that are cheap to get into and have a nice amount of exposure?

imageomega: hehe thanks! good to know I'm improving!

sa'ge: nope.. didn't have the money or interest in schooling. Only thing I took was commercial art in highschool. I honestly believe that being self taught for a certain period of time is stronger than anything any course can teach you. I'm living proof of it! Good luck to your animation career! My advice is to be sure to teach yourself outside of school, and experiment like crazy!

What amazes me is your ability to convey soo much emotion from the simplist of forms...your animated GIFs may be a bit sketchy but they explode with richness...*cough* um yeah

Well, all I really ever saw of yours were those little 2d gif animations that look kinda scribbly.. I didn't know you did more polished stuff. I just love your animation techniques.. you have an incredible knack for creating a mood. I also never knew that there were storylines behind all your characters, and I must admit that I find them quite humorous. Again, great work!

oh.. weird hehe

It seems as if alot of people don't know I do 3D films. I guess I post too many gifs or something eh?

I am relatively new to animation in general. I didn't start the 2D stuff until I joined this forum. All the neat work I saw inspired me to give it a shot, but realism just isn't my thing. the 3D is kinda new to me too. I've been working with lightwave for almost 2 years now. So hopefully I'll be pumping out AVIs as quickly as the GIFs someday
