Hi all,

I d like to get some comments and critics on this sketch. Oh and also, if some of you can show me how to check the vanished line. I think that the big mountain is a bit too hi.

Thanks for your time.

Yeah I think your mountain is too high. It probably shouldn't be higher than her shoulder line. Also I think you need some kind of horizon, either flat or jagged, something really far away that would give more depth to the picture.
Other than that you need more deep shadows, and overall more contrast in the values (a lot more contrast I would say). And more definition oh the horse's head.
Good pic so far.

Well, i agree with black_fish on his comments. I think you REALLY need to define the horses head more, cuz to be honest, if black_fish hadnt mentionned it, i wouldnt have know it to be a horse
I also think there might be something wrong in the proportions of the head and back...I might be wrong but something seems off...
Anyway, its still a very nice drawing and i really like concept, keep at it !
And by the way, what part of Quebec are you from ?

black_fish: Thanks for you comments, I ll try to put the horizon line more far away.

Seph|roth: Its true that there is something wrong with the back proportion of my character.
P.s. Je suis de la mauricie. I check this forum since spring but I dont have posted very much

Thanks Wrath,

I said that its a sketch version because it s not finished at all. All pieces are not in place and the smugging isnt done. I not also satisfied with some color. But I aggree, the image is more advenced than a sketch.

I will post an upgrade image next week for comments.
