Here's a little animation I worked on since Sunday. It's inspired by Synj's mini animations and his style and his thusly named because of. Also because it's like "Being John Malcovich."
This is what I imagine is what being Synj is like, where he lives and how he spends his time.
The guy wakes up in Synj's head and slowly comes to grips with his new reality. Afterwards, he realizes his infinite power as Synj-man and proceeds to adventure :P
I'm not quite sure what I think about it (too soon after finishing it), so I'll let you guys decide... |

Thats fricken rad.. true to the Synj spirit, and just in time for his birthday.
Everyone should wish that crazy sob a happy birthday. I know he's made me laugh on a crappy ass day.

mOO: Yeah, you got me mOO, it's nothing more than Ren and Stimpy remembered and repackaged :P
synj: I started the storyboard on Sunday night and spent 3 days (Mo,Tu,Th) working on it.. about 3 or 4 hours each day. Reasonable amount of time for 108 frames I guess. It was ALL inspired off of the flying sandwich mini-ani you had earlier this week. I was going to have Synj-man flying through the air the same way... but I got lazy.
Oh, and originally, I was going to have the guy enter the "darkness" by flushing himself down a toilet, similar to the drainage tunnel that people used to get into John Malcovich's head
If I make a continuation, I promise a higher violence/weirdness density per frame!!!!!! |

thanks hehe yeah i liked powdered toastman too i fogrgot all about it. i don't like spumco's new stuff though i think ren and stimpy shoulda stayed and been happy. nickolodeon probably raped his rights to that one though poor guy. i heard the way he lost his job is he was falling behind and then he came up with stuff that was unsuitable for TV and they smashed him.
then they replaced him with somebody that didn't do as good and the show bombed. that'll teach them to get rid of happiness! |
