I got introduced to this perticular disposeable assasin by my friend and couldn't get the comic out of my head, so I figured a quake3 model out of it...

I came up with an Idea to do cartoon shading (yah in Q3) without creating a black shell, but mostly cus I can't skin worth didly so I was wondering if anyone would like to help me skin it?
Any advice on doing a skin for a cartoon charecter?

a li'l while ago, there was a cartoon Q3 model that had a sweet shader effect to make it look like a flat-shaded 'toon. Poke around for it at Polycount, it's not too old...

oh, I know how to create a cartoon shaded skin, I've had a test model of the half life scientist cartoon shaded (no shaders, just pure modeling my friend in Halflife! unfortunately I didn't submit it so that guy got the credit for being the first with a cartoon shaded skin, ack, well I don't wanna take credit, it's like thinking of an Idea but not using it...... aaaanyways, I've got the model but milkshape broke! it won't compile into an MDL.... and I don't know how to use it in Max

basically what's missing is animation, and skeleton.... and I think I can test the cartoon shading on another allready MDL'ed model, for now.... oh and animation... well it's scud, so it MUST have the right "flavor" I mean c'mon, why scud if it dosn't move right
<added this part>
preliminary test for one texture cartoon shading did not go too well... I think it's the model viewer I was using, I might need to try it inside of halflife

well, I use milkshape to compile the MDL... and apparently their latest version dosn't like to do that.... so for now no half life, and no Q3 untill I figure out how to animate in Q3 (not in Max, I don't know how to use it well enough yet) I allso need to redo the mones and attachments, cus they're all weird now (sholders are destorted as you can see)

one last thing I need help animating this thing, and maybe creating a more detailed skin than just plain old flat color/cartoon if I do it

synax - Shut yo mouth fool! I've been waiting for someone to make a GOOD scud model for HL/CS for ages and ages, that older one was decent but this one just owns it every regard because shahar took the time to do it right, ie. his pinkys pointing straight out while he aims the gun.
