some lovely individual from this forum decided to subscribe me and my email address for god knows how many mailing lists and whatnot, and when i got to work today, this

Well, sometimes it hard to beleive what people will go through, just to piss of others....

I guess there's a lot of sad little boys out there so afraid to stand up for themselves, that they have to resolve to petty anonymous terror.

You say "someone from this forum". The only way of knowing he/she's from this forum is by knowing the identity of the 'offender'. If you know his/her identity why not approach the person in person instead of bringing it in here?

If you do not know the identity of the offender, why assume its someone from the forum? It doesnt seem unlikely to me you've pissed other people off as well along the way...

'cause this, and icq, are the only places to dig my email up without effort, and icq is pretty safe, the assholes aren't there anymore.

and these emails started flowing in to my mail box the next day after the drawing post on this forum.

m00 and gear, for example, could well be it.

ah well, luckily i don't need to pay *any* effort to block all of this. nyah.

You email can be found in otherways as well, even web pages with cookies can find your email adress in your system..I wouldnt be so quick to blame this forum..its seems rather..uhm..silly?

seems rather realistic.

for example, if somebody digged up my email from some cookie bullshit, he most likely would type "asfjksaf" as my password for some subscription thing, not "dork".
