What's that browning paper that Vortx does his sketches on called? Like if I were to look for it in an art store, what would it be called? |

Yeh. I am interested too. I used to put a sponge in some coffee water and then brush it over the paper.. it has a nice effect. I dont really know any other ways to do this.
I tried looking for that sort of paper to use my white ad blakc crayons on ages ago.. And I failed to find any.. also that greyish textured paper

it's no secret..hehe. I buy it from a place called Kelly Paper in Pasadena. Here's the info:
http://www.kellypaper.com/prem.html
Maker name: Fox River
Item name: Confetti (you can actually see the packaging of it in that pic - the brown one at the bottom middle)
it costs around 20 bux for 500 sheets of 8 1/2 x 11. You can also get it in gray, blue, red, and i think purple.
hope this helps.

if you can't find kelly paper, you can use Canson paper, which most art stores sell. Tho they usally come in big sizes 19x24+ and cost a lot more....maybe 3 bux a sheet? i donno..

They also make a recycled-paper sketchbook with similar brownish paper. Here's an example... HB pencil and white Prisma.

Man, I just searched the two best art stores in the area and they have nothing like that paper. These are high-quality art stores, too, and I can't find the paper anywhere... |

I was wondering if that is charcoal you used on the paper? Or is there a special white pencil for sale |
