I think your splash page image is a bit small. Since there isnt much color (which is kind of cool actually), the links at the bottom stand out more. I dont know if thats desired. Also..too much negative space on the bottom.
Only your "vivid" link is connected..so it is difficult to judge other pages. And I dont know about everyone else..but I really despise other windows that pop up.
But..I dont want to sound like I dislike your page. Au contrair mon friar... ..I like the color scheme and I like the image itself. The links in the corner could be edited a bit to be on a natural curve..or perhaps use a different font..and maybe with some sort of flash or mouse roll-over for the links.
Good start

what would be a good idea to fill up that negative space? i'm thinking about adding some rolleovers or something, the top left space is going to be filled in with some DHTML that's going to be and updates area, just to fill that up, but i need to know where to add more things to fill up more negative space, do you think taking out all the color on the links at the bottom would make them blend in a litte more, i think i might do that.

A bit generic, but well executed. I agree it needs an itty bitty more dynamics. Mouseovers perhaps... or a nifty DHTMLscript. Good work though. I like the colors. |
