..or something.
Here is a picture I completed overnight. It wasnt really a planned pic. It just started out by messing around with the paintbrush until something came out, and I started working some more on it. I guess later on the pic got inspired by Loki's alien landscape. Also inspired by the Alien movies.
I think im done with it.

I was thinking of adding a starship trooper-look alike bug lurking behind the mountain or something. But uhm i dont know yet, what do you think?

*argh* I hate jpg compression, my colors got forked.

i think the picture looks great the only thing i noticed that seems kinda questionable to me is largest peak in the foreground kinda connects with the hazy peak in the mid ground that u used to show depth.. but on the peak that looks like cone shaped doesnt look as hazy.. i dunno just a thought

Nice!

You should slap some low opacity multiply layers with color on that bad boy and see how it looks

Brake from school. woop.

aquamire: Right, that's what I thought, it needs... something heh. Or I dunno maybe it looks a little mysterious without anything on the ground. At first I tried painting a .. dood or something, but it looked wierd.
surferboi: Thanks. Sure does look confusing doesn't it
Jenn:
gseegert: Thanks. Uuhhhm? It's supposed to look a little desatured. But actually in the PSD version, it has alot more brown/blue in it.
Seph|roth, Transcendent: th-th-thanks.

Nah, do not add anything to it. It is great like that. Is it too much asking if you could send me a copy of it in the original rez? I'd like to see how you made the steam. I like too a lot the rocks textures: when thinking about brush strokes they seem really simple and loose, but when thinking of the picture as a rock it works out very very well. Time?

Here's an update of the pic, I sharpened up the landscape & I sized up the ship, detailed it a bit, and sized it down again.
I also added some exhaust flames from the engines, since they were looking too much like lamps.

edit: argh forgot the img tags

Haarg2: Hey fellow Simpson worshipper, I thanketh you.
Jorge: I thank die. I'm still figuring on if I should add something or not. Heh, no its not too much asking, but I'm sorry to say that this is the original resolution
The steam was made by using some custom brushes. It took about 2-3hours I think.

Nice job, btu i would work on the peek of the middle mountain, on the top left i think it needs a bit more definition, it looks like its fading into the sky or sumthin, if you wanna d othat, just add some light airbrush at the top of the mountain, keep on it
