This is a pic my brother pencilled and I painted up, I can draw its just that I havent for a while and my brother had loads for me to practise my Photoshop techniques on, so here it is.

i really love hte buildings in the background
only thing that bothers me is im not sure where the light is comming from, you have shadows all over the place in no real order somewhat chaotic if you ask me.
there seems to be a blue hue comming from off to the right somewhere... in which case there would also be a blue hue on his gun and cape.... i think all you really need to do is think about where your light is comming from and where the shadows will be and it will improve hte pic 100 fold.... also the gun looks a little flat, try drawing it at some sort of an angle even if its slight, because otherwise it looks very static and flat if you draw it from an EXACT side view and the rest of your painting turns out to be outta perspective if you do this, from my experience anyways.... hope this helps! keep up the good work, cant wait to see some of Your sketches soon too

I also agree, It was done a couple of years ago, and I've improved a little since then, but I thought I'd post it up anyway. Thanx for the advice. |
