Kinda looks like a giant floating olive.

hahaha, kidding....

THe pic is nice but some texture should be added to the rocks for more feel.

thats very nice!

You have a cool color pallette here.
If you go from that as a basis and add some detail you will have a great picture in no time.

I love faded stuff in the background, it provokes a sense of dstrought atmosphere.

Eww, I hate olives. Nice colors though. What kind of poster is it?

The creature looks very good! I agree that by spending some time on the background will make this a great pic.

My suggestion is as follows:

You would save some serious time with the cliffs if you planned the basic shapes & shadows in a much smaller resolution, and then blow it up for final touching up. If you don't have much time, just adding some hard edges would make it look much more solid as rock should be. Right now there are hardly any pointy edges on it, which makes it look almost organic.

The far away stuff looks good, too.

Thank'yall for the comments!

Hmnn.... I really didn't have olives in mind when designing the creature.... I HATE olives

Anthony: It's a poster for some themed techno-event.

Gecko: Good suggestion, I'll scale down my image and do a rough rock overlay, then blow it up over the original and do some nicer rock surfaces. Thanks!

Mjallo out there....

I just thought that I would share this piece I did for a poster.

It's not relly done but It'll have to do,
I only had this one evening to pull it out of my socks, so here it is.

And here's a link to the original rez:

HiRez_Poster

This is a close up of the creature:

And yesssss... I know that the rocky surfaces suck. but I didn't have more time to spend on it. I will make a finished version for myself and post it here.
The rocks are also going to be partially covered with various texts... so they are not that important.... blah, blah
