WOW! I saw the movie! I think it was so powerful and wonderful! Your pic sends the same emotions through me! One thing is that Mr. Norton seems to be lacking texture to his skin, just a note that's all, I couldnt even draw that. |

Looks great. Excellent painting. Looks alot like Ed.
only "problem" I can see, unless I'm seeing things is HIS right side. Something seems a bit off. His right arm looks longer or oddly positioned compared to his left. Could be soething in the angle or possible something with the lighting/shape in the neck and shoulder area.
Otherwise tis sweeeet. |

Thanks for the comments guy's Yeah I know its lacking alot of detail, but it was just a short little drawing, no biggie. Oh and Jenn, if thats not a nazi symbol, I don't know what is. I mean, I WAS using reference

man, somebody knows their stuff. i like the imperfections in the skin you added and the contrast is fabulous now on bright monitors. can't say i care much for the subject but that looks just like the guy.

Overall painting is good. Nice shading. Your biggest problem is the proportions and angles/shapes. Two things that stick out the most to me are the differences in negative space on the left hand side of the image and some of the shading, particularly on the vein on his left forearm. Your vein is too vertical.
I'm begining to sound like my lifedrawing teacher. "Pretty curtains on a lopsided room do not make for good design" or something along those lines. Woohoo, nazi reference. Be your own framework nazi (ie make sure the layout is all good before finalizing anything).
-Random reference. That life drawing teacher was Michael Matheson I believe... one of the greatest art teachers I've had in my life. The gut could knock your work all day but still encourage you to try harder at the same time. He had a definite logical pattern to every comment that came out of his mouth.
... I'm babbling. Shoot me. |

Great movie, and you picked the one scene where Edward Norton looks simply..EVIL..nice pic....and agree with gryn's comments. A little work to do and this will be..completely amazing. Top-shelf stuff though!
