Hey everyone. I was just recently introduced to this forum, and I decided to register. I've been reading through the threads .. and I must say there are a lot of amazing artists here. And I've already learned a few things ..
I just finished a new picture a couple days ago that's going to be used for a poster design for my band. I've shrunk it down a lot to post it here.. Any suggestions you guys have would be awesome. Thanks.

That is one beautiful picture.
Only thing you should consider though are the alignment of the eyes. The right eye should be raised a little. Just image a nose in there somewhere to see what I am getting at.
Kick ass altogether.
Great job. |

Certainly seems like there are a lot of collage artists joining the board latetly...
Cool stuff, though the green thing on the arm I could do with out. (From a flow stand point, the green dot makes the image seriously lopsided compositionally... when your eye hits the area with the 2 eyes and that dot you get kinda' stuck there. If the green dot was somewhere on the lower left it'd balance much better... though adding text to that area would have the same effect.)

Really cool piece, BTW. Awesome collage work. I wish I could do that!

Thanks for the comments/suggestions everyone..
Jenn: Hehe, no not my sleketon I wish I had an x-ray machine.. *grin*
StormVermin: I actually had the eye up higher, aligned with the other eye and it just gave it a too "horizontal" feeling.. so I lowered it, kinda adding to the wackyness too.
Cyberartist: I was thinking the same thing. I actually will probably get rid of the green. I only wanted it there to have more going on in the pic overall. As for the eye being on the right side, I tried balancing it out with a larger/brighter shoulder on the left. So do you think it would be fine if I were to take out the green dot. Or still too much focus on the right? |
