I can honestly say this is the first time I have ever tried to draw/paint myself. I guess I never thought about it. Thanks for the good topic Micke, and before I forget, here's me...

Thanks, Micke.
Sorry, no mirror used - I still don't have one I could move. So I took a photo. |

Do you people know how hard it is to hold this pose while drawing?! Fortunately I have a built in smirk(seriously, it's built in-teachers told me to get that smirk off my face I'd have to ask if they knew a good plastic surgeon), so I didn't have to strain to smile for an hour(the time of the pic). Micke, your's is great. This is my first self portrait. Not too bad...I don't know if I'd know myself though.

Sure. Offer to pay a girl some boob job, and, if she doesn't kill you, chances are she might be greatful. (*ahem*)
(oh, and John Romero has "pritty hair like a pony"... hehe, Jeff K... (http://www.somethingawful.com/jeffk/)) -- no offense, I had LONG hair up to my ass for a long time...=)

Well, I said I was going to be a part of this. I guess I'm a bit late, but bringing life back to a good thread is never bad
I'm not very happy about this (as I did small bits in different times a day, the enviromental lightning changed all the time ), but I did it from a mirror atleast . For those of you that haven't tried drawing from mirror, it's highly recommended. Personally, I find it even more challenging than drawing from a photo, the same way as doing figuredrawing, kind of.
oh, here's another portrait, from photo. Just friendly gesture I did for HumanClay. Veeeery quickly done though...

Here is my crappy portrait. Done w/ a photo, since I dont have a movable mirror in my Apartment.
It looks sooooo bad, and flat.
I want to smack myself around and say "Dodge & Burn are BAD!!!!...Hmmmkay?"
Done @ the rez you see here.
