G'day Everyone,

After seeing the great work everyone else was doing with the semi-photo-realistic style, I thought I'd give it a shot and below is the result. Please comment and let me know what you think. thanks in advance

hrmm.... interesting concept but what bothers me about this painting is the proportions...

the baby's head although its naturally supposed to be larger than the rest of its body because its a baby, its out of proportion its forehead is way to large. as well as where are his eyes? looks like his face got smushed.

the shadows on the hand look really nice its just where is that 5th finger? i know its supposed to be holding hte baby, but it just looks wierd like its at a bad angle and it looks liek you forgot to draw the 5th finger

the highlight by her lip looks a little odd too... makes it look like her mouth is dripping something out of it...

also....what is the stuff to the right of the figures? water? drapes? fabric of some sort? i mean... the figures dont have any distinquishable setting..and it makes the picture kind of lost.... hope this helps! nice idea

The baby is a cutey! Is it a doll? That head is really big! I like the picture, it's a nice concept imo.....I like the greyscale intentions! But the image could use a bit f fine toning....hey but look whose talking!

I like the concelt as well.
Like mentionned before, i would also do a little restructuring on the proportions.
Also, the picture seems a little too blurry in my opinion, maybe you should add a little sharpness to it and more defining lines at strategic places ?
Just a thought
