Hello all. I apologize for the abscence and lack of crits. I have been overly swamped at work with so much, I have run out of fuc# around time. Sorry. I will try to get ontop of my game again here within a week. I have been assigned a few too many things, and I hope I can at least give each one of them the amount of care they deserve...
I have been writing and writing this damn head tutorial now for a really long time. I am up to about 15 pages of just writing. I have cut it down to as little amount of bullsh!t as possible, and still have too many pages. And I still have three sections to write. I am going to send a bit of this to immi and see if they can be condensed, or broken up a bit into stes to post. I want to do it all at once so I don't have to revisit anything, and start newer tutorials that need to be written.
Well, now with all that said, I have some other thing to mention. Another reason I have not been around on the weekends is that I have found a soul mate. A permanent person in my life so to speak. I have known this girl for 18 years. I have just recently seen her again, and everything couldn't be more right between us. I proposed to her over the weekend, and we are going to get married next year sometime. Date isn't exact yet, but we have an idea. I never though I would do this, and for Waco, Francis and TENMAN this is the first time hearing this. I just recently broke up with a girl that I love dearly, but didn't get along with. Then, Vanessa(that is her name) came along, and that was that. We both want similar things in life, and she is a fantastic artist. I will try and post some of her stuff if she lets me scan it...heh...THis photo is at her art show. For those who know me, you couldn't get me to pose for nothing, I hate photos of me, but I am somehow more than compelled to photograph with her...hmmm...yeah I look like a kook, but look who I have in my arms...anyway...I have some lagit reasons for being MIA. I will try harder to get focused again, as soon as I come down from my high...anyway.
I also attached a real pastel drawing I made up quickly last weekend. I have been using painter lately and have been doing many chalk renderings. I thought I would give it a real go...go ahead and hack and tear and bleed me of my happiness... just do what you gotta do if anything at all. And thanks Dhabih for the great renovations in the forum. This place is that much better now...and wow to all the new people here on the forum. This place has grown so much...tear tear...sniff...heh

A very sincere congrats from me, you must be rather high (naturally) at the moment, Oh what a feeling.... (i'll leave the rest up to you). Good to have ya back, I've been curious as to when your knowledge base would start to hurt your head, after not spilling its contents into this forum.
Hey man, she's a goddess. (if you don't mind me saying)
Maybe you guys should combine your artistic powers to form.......something...really.............neat (fuck I rock)

Woohoo GO FRED!
I like your pastel drawing. Pastels are fun, but they get to my sinuses. I think I'm allergic to them.

Hey, congrats Fred. Cor! I don't think people will mind if you take off for a few weeks at a time, just as long as you post a few pictures of yer girlfriend every now and again. Actually, how bout you just go away, and let her take your place? Um, she's the one on the left eh? If she's the one on the right, I'd probably get rid of her soon...i think she has something growing on her chin or something. Oh wait, i get it...thats you! Oops.
Ha, i like the beavis look on your face "Huh huh, yeah, shes with me, huh, huh, huh huh."
Send me that tutorial man. 15 pages, 20 pages, 30 pages. man, i can handle it!
Um, this soul mate of yours have any cousins or sisters in canada?

Thats a beautiful lady you got there. Congragulations on the engagement.
Thats a pretty cool pastel pic there. It kinda seems a bit different from your normal stuff, but still, very very good.

Congrats, Fred. Didn't know you were engaged now. I wish you all the best.
I like the drawing.
I've been using the chalk and pastels in Painter as well. I think they're its best features.
I'm sending that package you wanted out tomorrow next day. Sorry for the delay, dood. Had to find it |

Hey congratulations Fred! It's always great to see people high on happyness.
The pastel is great too. The blue works really well in contrast with the warm reds and yellows. Love the sharpness on the checkered hood.
btw... I think you and Vanessa should swap hats and do a self portrait.. hm...then again.. maybe not..
