you guys should visit Oregon, it has the stupidest weather!! it rains alot over here, one time on my birthday(june 30) it rained... it was sunny, but somehow it managed to rain. it was warm and ucky rain, felt like a giant was peeing on me.

well, it figures wherever i live, there will not be snow...(everywhere in the entire nation it will snow, and in this 100 square mile area, it will not) and when we have snow it'll be less than an inch and it'll soon become soggy and muddy almost all the time. it's really kind of sad, the other day we had a little snow(the type to where it barely coats the ground, and you can still see little barkdust chunks floating above the poofy white) when i was driving to school i saw little kids trying to make snowmen and down the road you would see a whole yards' worth of snow rolled up into what looked like a 1 foot tall wet and brown yucky "barkdust and mud" man. and people at our school would have snowball fights and really they would be picking up rocks from the asphalt and throw them at each other(no wonder the snowballs hurt so bad).

Oregon is kinda cool, but the weather really is real shitty ass donkey

I like this dark urban rainy weather. It's dark for 16 hours a day. And it's really grey and drab with all these concrete buildings down here in the ghetto suburbs. Rain makes everything glisten in the shady haze of the streetlights.

*huff puff*
just shoveled a friend's car out of the snow bank. yay I love winter....
No really I do ! Even if it means getting a blizard on your way to work....... and on your way to home after work... and deadly slippery sidewalks (when they're not covered by 2 meters of snow)..
Get a cross country fitness training in the middle of the city !! Live dangerously !

Anyway Enayla, I'd love to send you a few truckloads of fresh snow from here. Two years ago we didn't get snow until dec 24th ! This year it was rather early. The weather is just going nuts -<

Hmm. We just had this years first snow.
I actually didn't notice it was snow until I stepped into my car and found some snow crystals left on the car's windows. The rest of the snow has already molten and has merged with the dirt that's lying around creating wet dirty mud as I predicted.
I hate that. I'd really like a white christmas.

P.S.: You know actually I don't really care. I just think it would be neat.

I guess I could say I am lucky. Since I have moved to Germany this year, my hometown in America(Toledo, Oh) got hit with quit a bit of snow from the Canadian clipper. My brother spent a lot of time shoveling snow Normally it is me who has to do it, but I guess I earned a year off.

All I am dealing with here is a lot of rain. Southern Germany(Munich and so) just got blasted with snow.(correct me if I am wrong bugscratch).

Hopefully I will see a little snow though. I am going to Austria soon for about 8 days. =)

hmm...
it's been cold here the last few weeks (60 degrees F). We actually had some rain for the first time in about 8 months the other day.

Then of course in the summer it's 90-110F.

I'm sure glad I don't live in upstate New York anymore...shoveling snow at 5AM so you can make it to work by 8AM and almost having a heartattack at the age of 22 was not fun..lifting 60 pounds of wet snow on the end of a snowshovel for an hour just to get your car out makes you a stinky guy before you even get to work. Other than that snow is great!

The weather in California has been real screwed up for awhile. Prefect sunny Ca - ha a lie told to the world. I'm 26ft above sea level. It's 30deg F in the winter to 110F in the summer. Monday it was 40F and raining and thurs it's dry and 75F.
We actually had about a half inch of snow about 24 years ago.
Shoot, last winter our dept walked to lunch because there was a couple clouds in a blue sky and by the end of an hour lunch we were getting more hailstones then we've seen in 5 years.

Grrr... just a few more days and then it's Christmas.

And there's still no snow.

I haven't heard about this ever happening this far north in Sweden before.

Something is seriously screwed up with the weather... gaaah... damn hairspray and refrigerators... *sniffsniff*

If I was smart enough to actually post a picture of where I live, it was probably make most of you mad (southern california).

If you check the weather in the U.S. check under a zip code of 92656 (i.e the Yahoo.com for the U.S. page).

I would gladly trade you some of this for something else (once or twice, not permenelty)

Enalya, if you want digital pictures let me know I will e-mail some to you, hopefully to brighten your day...

silico: whereabouts in oregon do you live? i'm in portland.

i don't mind that it rains a lot here, but i do miss the snow. my main complaint is that last week when it snowed (oh, *maybe* a quarter inch) traffic slowed to a stop because no one knew how to deal with it. it took me 3 hours to pick up my bf and go home. and they didn't even sand/salt the roads till the next day...

i have a little something to say to the dept of transportation here.

anyways, cool absinthe i wish you a merry christmas!!!!

Don't feel too bad. Even here in Canada on the east coast there's no snow (surprised?). At least not where I am. It's been snowing.. raining.. raining.. raining.. then snowing again only to be melted and washed away again by the rain. It isn't even that cold. It's like Vancouver over here!

Jeez, anyway. Hmm, no snow in Sweden? That's odd.

Hope you get snow though. Probably soon.
