... But I just feel the need to whine. Just a little.

Why can't it stop raining? I live in the north of Sweden, and usually we have LOTS of snow this time of the year. A big heavy blanket of white covering everything. Usually, me and my friends would already have had a couple of snowball fights (that is SO much fun! ) and the nice "christmas spirit" would be settling in because everything would look like a perfect christmas evening.

No, no... just a lot of sleet and sludge and ugly grey half-melted snow. Blah. So typical.

As a sidenote, I think this is my one hundred and second post... phew... I post way too much, I'm beginning to realise this now

Lucky bastards. Don't you complain. At least you can be sure that you'll still get snow this year

When we get snow it's like 2 inches max, and it almost never lasts longer than a day. So what we have in winter is basically a lot of dirty, wet mud, which occassionally turns into a lot of frozen dirty mud.

Spitfire, how can you stand it ?
I compensated for the lack of snow here by going to ski in Austria twice last year.....

That's a WHOLE lot of rain.

Yeah, okay, maybe the weather isn't so bad here.

I'm still SO disappointed. Sigh. Was hoping for a beautifully white christmas.

On the other hand... I'm betting I'm going to be freezing a whole lot more this winter than most of you people. Or maybe I shouldn't bet Someone will just prove me wrong.

Heh, of course I'll deal with it.

Most of the time, I love the rain.

Can't blame a girl for wanting to whine once in a while, right? Everyone else does it anyway

Heh heh... ... and if I'm lucky, we'll get snow tonight. Someone said we would. I'll just park my little self on the balcony with my kitten and watch all those pretty little snowflakes

Enayla, same here. Considering we're neighbours, it's no big surprise.
But I don't really care, 'cause in 5 days I'm gonna be off to New Mexico...

Spitfire: Nah, I'll drink it all myself. Oh yeah, crap, you have to be 21 to drink alcohol in America. Sucks. Guess I'm gonna have to get totally wasted on the plane ride?
Oh, and Enayla, it's quite literally impossible to post too much.

I personally have some ~300 posts, and have yet to say anything smart.
Spitfire has some 1148 posts. You think he said something truly insightful and thought-provoking in each one?
(no offence Spitfire )

PS. this is starting to feel like a semi-chat session. :P

Yeah, it feels a bit like chatting. Hm.

But I am SO bored. Bored, bored, bored out of my mind.

Damn work. Put me on designing webpages when I know squat about it, will they? Grrr...

Hee hee... I've lived in California and Montana all of my life. In California, if you don't like the weather, just get in your car and drive for an hour or two in any direction. It's like you're in another country. In Montana, if you don't like the weather, just wait five minutes and it'll change.

We've got about 8 inches of snow out there right now - we got let out of school an hour early yesterday so the buses would actually get us home in time. And now today, no school!

Ha, it can't be worse than England!

"Welcome to sunny Bournemouth" my ass!
It won't stop raining, and if it does, it will be cloudy with small annoying drops...

That does it, back to my rainy Greece for Xmas!

Actually. I'm starting to get pretty worried now. I can't having a snow-less December. This is the north of Sweden, damn it! Not natural :/

Ah well.

I guess the whole world is just messed up.

Only if "the whole word" only includes Europe - considering North America is getting blasted with snow.

Here we have one or, luckily, two days of snow every year. The thing is, we used to have much more snow, lots of snow!
Hmm... maybe the climate is changing? are we changing it?
Anyway, usually it snows in april, so I expect some rainy or cloudy xmas.
I think it would be great to expend xmas on the netherlands or sweden, you have many possibilities of having snow, haven't you?
