I don't know, yesterday I did this as an assignment for my school newspaper. I have no clue why they wanted a wave, one this big at least (11x17 size) which is about as large as the newspaper itself..background?
Well I did it without reference and am quite proud of it. And by chance, I had enough boring time to make a tutorial for those who want to know how to make it.

Very nice indeed, though the transition between the blues is a bit sudden.
Shit i wouldn't even attempt something like this...
...makes me wish it was summer.
