Helloooo!
Remember a while back when Spooge posted his movie with the ninja in a bladerunner like city and then he slaughtred a little kid? yah that one. Well everyone said it resembled Ninja Scroll. What is Ninja Scroll? It sounds cool, is it worth renting, or even buying? A while back I saw Akira which was pretty cool, (when your stoned) but my friend saw it again later and said it wasn't that great. He then told me about a movie called Dragon Scroll, anyone heard of it? Did you like it, hate it, have mixed feelings about it?

Ninja Scroll is bar-none the best Anime movie I've seen... been trying to find it on DVD, I'll probably just have to order it online.

PS. DO NOT get Ninja Scroll 2.... it's not even the same guy really (though same name) and the story and animation are as lame as it gets.. Blecch..

Ninja Scroll is crucial ! Unsurpassed! It is simply the best anime that I've ever seen! Definately worth renting or buying! The guy with the wasp nest in his torso is so freakin cool!
Never heard of Dragon Scroll!

Just had to put my 2 cents in... Ninja Scroll is the SECOND best anime I've ever seen... (first being Princess Monanoke.) In any case, I highly recommend it as well.

Wait until Disney's "Atlantis" comes out. It's very "Anime" looking. At any rate, the animation will be awesome.
Micke and Joachim's show was good. And they did that when they were teens. Aargh! |

You can get Ninja Scroll on DVD at any online store. DVDexpress.com for example.
The Jubei Character is based on an actual character in Japanese history. Ninja Scroll 2, which you mentioned there is called Ninja Resurrection. They mentioned there that he was an excellent swordsman that disappeared without a trace and was never seen again. That is why so many people have wanted to make movies or books about his unrecorded travels. The fact is that he also was missing an eye and that was never shown in Ninja Scroll, only in the other moves. |

ive never seen ns2 but ninja scroll the first was unbelievable.....the fight scenes were so intense (that first battle in the forest was so cool!), there is alot of nudity, but that doesnt hurt the movie at all (not in the least *wink*).
you wont be dissapointed, its the 2nd best anime movie ever in my book =] (akira reigns number 1) |

Well, I am afraid I have not seen Princess Monanoke. Still, that reminds me of another great movie with a similar name: Princess Mononoke, that was a terrific movie.

Bah. I suppose I should learn to spell it correctly if I'm going to go around saying it's my favorite anime, shouldn't I? ![](http://www.sijun.com/dhabih/ubb/wink.gif) |

Hrmm. I think Miyazaki's animations are unsurpassed story wise. But the animation in Akira was much better i think. I tend not to like animes because usually the animation is of horribly low quality. Stories are interesting though.
Those movies are frikken expensive. In Japan I paid 80$ for Nausicaa. and some other movies not available in North America |

If anyone is getting the DVD version make sure that you get the 2nd conversion. The first is horrible. Audio loses sync and there are a lot of noticeable artifacts. Just a terrible transfer. Check out
www.manga.com for more info. Anyway, what about Ghost in the Shell? That has to be my favorite w/ Princess Mononoke and Ninja Scroll a close second. Oh, and ofcourse Akira is on there too
