Here's some stuff that has been lying in my drawers at work. Some are newer, some older.
The last pic is a painting that i cancelled
because i thought the composition was too
boring. It's more or less done anyway.

Damn. I wish my old stuff looked that good. Do you always pencil like an inker? The changing thickness in your lines is usually what an inker would do to a pencil sketch, but all of your sketches are pretty much finished products. |

Jesus-Christo...damn man you much good. I can't believe this is old useless rubbish and not on your web page in a sketches folder.
I love the painting. The finished hand looks a bit old, like an older womans, but damn it looks good. Nice rendering of form...
You definitely like your women "healthy". But they don't look absurdley out of place like so many images can get...
This stuff is incredible, as usual, I don't think you have any bad stuff... |

Yeah, that last painting is great! I like how your paintings look very non-digital. They really look like traditional media. Is it Painter or Photoshop?
Oh yeah, your sketches are always cool, too.

Those are great, Micke. The woman in the top right reminds me of a Shane Glines drawing. |

Hey micke, these are really cool man. I like the ships n mask quite abit.
The painted one is fkkin fat mate, influenced by Tank girl by any chance??
Something about the gun looks like its bending tho, not sure what it is. Maybe its the angle of the end part of the gun, looks kinda off??
You should definetely finish it tho, greatwork man. |

Man, Micke, that last pic is soo cool. There's just something about her that makes her look really interesting. The composotion could maybe be improved by turning the girl to an angle, so that she's not facing straight on. But, continue with this pic man...seriously, theres something about it that is really cool. |

Chapel: I use that way sometimes in order to create depth with lines. I often have problems with just watching plain black lines on white paper. it's easier that way to get a generall wiev of it + it gives more life to it i think.

Oh I wasn't complaining. I just thought it was neat that you draw it in with your pencil instead of inking it to get the line depth. I'm working on trying to get my sketches to look as clean as yours. |

Wow!I did'nt expect so much feedback
I really should paint more, when i think about it i've only been drawing all the time and not painting.
Chapel: no no, i did'nt think you were complaining, and i hope my answer did'nt sounded like i was offended or something. I only wanted to explain why i use changing thickness in the lines
Fred:These are not that old..the first sheet is about 2 years old, the second is from my days at FUNCOM(Norwegian developer)it's 5 years old and is the oldest. The last one i started a couple of month ago, but did'nt finish. I put them up on my homepage.
since i more or less got all my drawings almost since my birth i can't save everything It's better to scan. Glad you liked them. By the way i have'nt had time yet posting older stuff
from my teens, will do that soon. The painting is done still using the ol'100%opacity on the brushes, he he. I hate the right arm, hand and the breats area on it
and also the perspective on the gun. Maybe i'll finish it just to correct those errors.
Thank you.
Francis:Thanks a lot. I try to paint the same way as i do do traditionaly. it was done in photoshop, have'nt tried painter properly yet. It runs too slow on my computer.
Poxen: The duck is made in penciles.
Jag tror inte att jag hadde klarat av att
gra en tutorial. Tror att det hadde frvirrat folk mer nn hjlpt Jag jobbar p ett lite skummt stt. Skall i alla fall tnka p det nsta gng
Frost:Thanks, man!
Cos:I know the gun looks weird, actually that was the last thing i was working on before i stopped, It irritates me to death..
Yeah! Tank girl. I used to be a big fan of
the comic.

You're fast becomeing one of my all time favorite artists Micke. And I really mean that. I would buy anything with your name on it without a second thought.
I like the donald duck sketches, I like the veichle drawings, hell it's all good .
Even though the painting has a less than dynamic composition, I still think it's very effective. you should deinitly put it on your site.
I'm one hundred percent non-suck up with my comments about your skill. I am always amazed at the quality of work so many game artists put out. But more amazed at the fact that it rarely sees the light of day as far as people outside the company are concerned.

God I love your pencil line micke... And the painting looks pretty sweet too, for example the volume on the clothing is so nicely defined with sharp&clear masses, like in your paintings usually.

Those are really grand drawings. I *love* the painting. I really admire your style especially your use of colors. Every time I see great art like this, the eyarning for a tablet makes my stomach hurt.

I think micke is probably my favorite on this board. I think I saved about 75% of your pics to my harddrive last night. I love the sketches. I want to try and get that nice clean look on my drawings. How come Joachim doesn't post as much as you anymore? |

Rinaldo: Thanks I really should plan my paintings more before starting..Not to mention using referance.
Sfr:I have a tendency of going too sharp and edgy.I think that you, Joachim Spooge, Fred, Frost for example has a really good balance between soft and sharp in your pictures.I don't have too much practice with
painting, but i hope that will change.
Thanks
Chapel:Both me and Joachim have been busy working on a freelance job. I completed my part of it not long ago. Joachim actually completed his part yesterday, so i guess we'll see more of his nice stuff in the future.Thank you!
