I made it for Z.com , the neat people i work for. Whether they'll like it or not is still to be seen (which is why there's no music/sound) but I liked it and figured people would appreciate it. enjoy!
feedback is encouraged said me to you.

Great stuff synj! Good motion as usual.. and of course a nice unique idea. Only very small suggestion I could make is to have the z.com in the lower right not show up until the end, after mr. extra ribbed for, er, yeah, after he gets whacked. |

I like the animation, Synj. But I hate immersive Flash interfaces. A little on the "Joe Cartoon" wave but with better art. |

interesting, aliasmoze. I tend to get into flash cartoons a bit more, as most people that I've seen seem to. You don't feel more compelled to watch something you contribute to? I have a few more of these lined up. btw, i hate joecartoon hehe steve whitehouse all the way!

Very cool as usual synj. I think FireWalker
had a good idea though. Don't have the z.com
thing there until the end and then put it
by his head so that the Z his antennae or
whatever turns into is the Z in z.com and
then the spinning circles are the dot in
z.com. Just an idea, oh and I can't wait
to see it again when you put your great
sounds in!

synj, you can make an if statement within the first frame saying IfLoaded(last frame nr) that alters the visibility of the load object...
hope that helps...

Synj, I don't hate Flash itself or Flash cartoons. I just don't like sites that are totally Flash.
As a means of getting animation onto a web page, Flash is the best thing going. |

Synj, you are heaps and heaps better than JC. You're more George Plimpton (spelling?). I also like Steve Whitehouse. That music video he did was fabulous.
BTW, have you seen the Spumco stuff on Icebox? The story is, well, Spumco. But the animation is DOH awesome. That John K biotch! |

ehehe thanks. i like to think so too, but joe cartoon is like 100000% more popular than anything i do.
plimpton kicks a major ass hehe. 's cool to hear that my stuff is somewhere around there. right on
nah, i didn't see steve whitehouse's music video.
spumco? ick. i liked ren and stimpy but these other things he has out i dont really enjoy. the facial expressions, timing, and illustrations are still fabulous though. |

I like the z.com animation, the way the green guy pops up is good.
The music for the you Vs koy game is pretty funky.
Nice stuff. |

Synj, yeah. Running in the same circles I guess as JC, I hear about the hits and money he generates. But it's lowest common denomincator. Don't get me wrong; Joe gets a response, and I won't discount that. But then again, when I saw "Armageddon," the audience applauded at the end of that POS. I yelled, "Are you people mad?????"
I recently met a guy who owns several porn sites and wanted to break away into mass media. He was going on and on about how he'd carry the success he'd had before into mainstream media. I was like "It's porn! It's easy. Don't pat yourself on the back for it." Needless to say, we won't have anything to do with that kind of thing. It reminds me of bimbo "blonde bombshells" who get mad when they're not taken seriously. You just have to laugh.
The point to my diatribe is that you and MoserBros. are into mainstream content. It takes longer but ultimately has more staying power than stuff like JC. In fact, Joe has tried getting into narative storytelling and has had trouble; he's completely pigeon-holed into what he's doing. If you focus on storytelling, then it shouldn't happen. |

One other thing. The "Adam and Eve" show on Z has a Flash interface that I actually really like. The show is very well done as well. That kind of thing works, I think.
God I want to animate a show for Z!!!! |

Alias,
Man your stuff is great.. come up with something you'd like to do with Z beforehand, show it to me and I'll give it a shot at getting you in there. I know you've tried earlier (i think?), but seriously just give it another shot with something else. I can't see anyone not accepting that material of yours. Look at that show "prom queens" for example....
