I figured since this is my first post on this board, which I've been lurking on for some time, I thought I'd do more than just talk and share some of my digital art with you
I know, I know, the shading needs a little work, and some parts on the man are not proportioned 100% correctly, but this is my first digital art piece I feel comfortable enough to show to other people. My primary influence was Spooge and Dhabih. thanks guys! |

Amazing,
Nice work with balancing the tones yet keeping your highlights in mind.
The anatomy of the male is almost fresh out of an anatomy book, I also like what you have done with the dog, his fur was re-created identical.
I like how the sun shines up against the house, it adds a nice sense of atmosphere.
Amazing pic, simply amazing.
Keep up the good work!
-Cheers. |

Whoever the happy-face guy is, he seems far too happy. We should sever his testicles.

Great, I'm glad everyone agrees with me. I'm at that point in my artistic career where every piece I draw is my best piece ever! I enjoyed the comments, and have taken them to heart, so much so that I have reinnovated on the Majukland piece:
http://www.angelfire.com/rock2/nurflegurfle/majukland.html
Now, as you can see I've added significant changes. I've applied much needed shading to Majukman and Majukdog, to better simulate the light eminatiing from the Majukland Sun, which I have also shaded and given a lense flare, because, lets be realistic, you can't very well look straight into the Majukland Sun and not expect to suffer severe retinal damage after a given period of time
And also I have given Majukman's house a major graphic overhaul, shading and adding updates to the windows. Also changes in the yard and sky too. Questions/Comments welcome.

That swirly sun seems a little too sophisticated for the style your doing. Just a circle with the rays would be right. |

needs clouds, dog is adorable, man needs woman. man is also very pale to be out in the sun, he needs a tan, maybe some shades? just a suggestion from a meger artist compared to yourself.

Oh, wow! First majukman and majukdog. Now we have Godzilla, too! This has all the makings of a cult classic. I have to stop typing now, I'm too choked up with emotion...

Yes Mantis, it was a joke!
I don't usually draw like that(on purpose, anyways)
I was just kinda poking fun at how people post their stuff, then update it a bunch of times, which is actually a good system for improving your drawing skills in my opinion. |
