Setting level of detail is when you have
say five different versions of one model
the first is high-deailed the second less detailed, etc. It's useful in order to
keep the polycount low. what i did yesterday was to set the distance between each step, YUCK!.

Micke, if your programmers loved you like we love our artists, you wouldn't have to do that. We have code which automatically reduces the lod by taking polys off the models =) |
