Ian, you have inspired me beyond words. I hope you don't mind that I did a repainting of your sketch.

it's not much compared to the original, but i think it still has merit ..

Holy cow extralobe, I love the hairy texture. Can you please tell us how did you get it? Also, is that scaled or 100%?

Jorge: I just flat-shaded with a big brush, then switched to a 80-90% opacity 1-pixel brush and pushed and pulled at the edges. (ie pick up color on one side of boundary, scribble some, pick up other color, unscribble some). having two views (one zoomed in tight, one showing the whole image) helped to decide if it looked like fur yet.

It's full size of course, i did it right on top of ian's 'sketch'
