here's a new peice I did for practice. I'm pretty displeased with it. It's a pic of Mr. Bob Marley. The reference pic I used is provided and is pure crap due to it's size. So I zoomed the pic up at any attempt to retrieve some detail. Please bring all that you have at me, hell insult it if you like I could use it. If you want to paint it for practice like I did go right ahead and please display it.

I think this is great, above!

The only thing that stands out for me is the right side of his face (our left). Everything else is grooviliscous!

i like the style you have, free like a little starling released after being encaged since he was an egg.

the thought i had was to darken your shadow colors. i don't think the eyebrows should be darker than the eyes. also, the fingers could be touched up a bit, but hey i don't have much to show. keep it up.

I agree with Kurisu that the right side of his face (our left) is a little funky. The eye has a lot to do with it.

But other than that I really like it. Very fresh feel to this painting.

Nice one, dude!

To fix the right side, flip the image horizontally - that'll give you a fresh look at it.
The moustache seems a little bit low on the right side - maybe that's the main problem.

You might also tighten it up a little bit to finish it off. Overall very cool.

Btw: no guys, don't put 'Hey Fred & Spooge!" in every topic ... that'll tire them and they'll start to ignore topics like that - just my $0.02
