I came up with. Looked in the mirror for a bit of ref.
He's a bit pissed because someone hid his wooden leg again. Damn scurvy bilge rats!!

hrmm... just doenst scream "YOU SCURVY LAND LUBBER!!!!!" to me... not dirty piratey enough....not swashbuckling.... maybe an unshaven beard or two, or some other definete stereotypical pirate clothing and accessories n'such...
