Hey all. well i added some rocks to this plant thing so it actually means something!

The thanks to affected goes for two things.
1) the inspiration to get off my lazy @ss and do some work

2) you told me a long time ago how to go about making images. well when i gave it a go, i was no good, and so didn't use it any more. This image was done using that method, and i think this is my best peice of work so far, so thanks.

well here it is. sould i add a backdrop or keep it white? comments please.

Well, shade something in using 3 variants of whateve colour you want to use, but use the paintbrush... then use airbrush at 5% to shade it right...then use dodge n burn and ad texture...

he helped me with the paintbrush thing...

'course, that was a long time ago, and as far as I remember, I just whipped up a few in-progress pics to show you. If they helped, good.

A BG would really help the image, if you ask me. It's sort of just sitting there, give it an environment. I'm not so sure about the lines, either. It seems you're going for a pretty realistic, painted look, and the line drawing doesn't necessarely work with that.

yeah it was that hand/arm thing you did that helped.

Im not going for a realistic look here really, i was just making SOMETHING. it happened to look like that. i wanted it to look better quality than usual tho...

what do you mean by line drawing?
