Well here is a little collection I tossed up of a character I'm working on for a Flash Animation. Most of the sketches are fairly unfinished and some of the others are a little more rendered.



I plan to go back and tighten all the sloppy ones before diving into coloring them. I'll post those as well when I'm finished.

Speaking of flash animation.. i wanna try at it, but not sure about the execution.. is it still like traditional animationg whereas you have to animate every frame and drop them in.. (like animated gifs) or is there some trick to it..

shrug.. maybe its harder than i thought :P

Yes those Sketches are rather awesome! I really like how you captured his expressions in the sketches. the shading is excellent in the more developed sketch to the right.

That mummies legs seem a little thick. You probably used yourself as ref for them and forgot how muscular you are.

What have you used to shade the image?
