I haven't drawn from a real human subject for a while. It can be tough. My saving grace is that black and white is easier than color Done in Painter.
A tip to those of you who decide to draw your sleeping friends: just doodle for a while or make practice sketches while your subject is falling asleep; they tend to sag more and more until they're finally sleeping. Then be very very quiet.

I love the inky wash look. Good job. Did you show it to them when they woke up? Did they like it? |
