I had some free time at school.

Materials: chicken wire for the frame of the ball, newspaper, glue, poster paints, sand (Sprinkled on as such as well as mixed with the paint), flax fiber, some kind of black hair and cardboard for the base.

I like to work with natural media, yes. MOstly at school since there I have a lot of materials at my disposal. Lately I've found I don't like painting with real paints as much as I like painting in PS, though, so I do this kind of stuff. There's a 'real life' section in my gallery at my site.

Well, you know I like McKean's work...

On the other hand, what else can you get when you combine a surreal mindset with a highly random technique involving just about any materials you happen to find... :P
