Hi! I've been reading this forum for a while and thought that I might as well post something  . So here it is; it's and old comic page that I did back in 97.
I know everything in the drawing's wrong, but this post is just to introduce myself.

Ay, laddie, welcome to the board.
The page is fantastic. I have only one thing to say: Don't tell me what I think! It's a great picture, so try not to set up your picture with bad press. It's tough to stick them puppies out there to fend for themselves, I know, but you're friggin' awesome.

Wow! Thanx everybody for the comments!
Chapel: Larsen-ish? Oh, I never thought my drawings looked like Erik Larsen's, but I guess I know what you mean, that pose and arm could be from a Savage Dragon comic .
zapman: yeah! I work for a Marvel-ous software engineering company! 
And for all that bad press thing... maybe I'm too hard on myself, I'm always thinking I could do better, I can't help it, sorry.

That is the only one that looks like that. The main thing about it that makes me think of Eric Larsen is his fingers on his right hand. You used straight lines instead of curving them to make them look more organic. Not a bad thing, but its a stylistic thing. If I really had to compare you to a comic artist I would say your style looks alot like Dale Keown. I think that is how his name is spelled. He drew Pitt. But your style does have its own uniqueness.  |
